Half amazing, half disappointing

The beds were SO comfy! ! The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Unfortunately, I found stains on some bedding and towels, which was a real letdown. Breakfast lacked hot food options as well.

Convenient location, close to stores, parking availability

The mixed-up names of motels across the freeway made it frustrating to locate the right one!!! I also encountered some issues with inconsistent communication from management regarding pet fees that left a bad taste!!!

I loved that this spot was super easy to get to after my weekend trek through town, with Capaha Park just over 4 km away for a lovely stroll and the Cape River Heritage Museum almost 5 km away to satisfy my inner history buff, providing a clean and spacious room that made my stay very comfortable, especially after spending the day exploring all the local attractions.

The location was super convenient, just off the interstate and close to various dining options. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, making it a great spot after a long day on the road. The staff was friendly and quickly addressed my requests, making me feel at home. However, the breakfast selection could use improvement as it was quite limited.

I absolutely loved my stay. the big bathroom and high-flow shower were a dream! Everything was immaculately clean, and the comfy bedding was perfect for a restful night. I’d totally stay again!

Comfortable Stay with Great Service

I enjoyed a relaxing night in the clean, quiet room. The staff were exceptional, especially a friendly young lady who went out of her way to assist us. For breakfast, options were limited, so plan for a nearby café for something more substantial.

The location is excellent, surrounded by numerous dining and shopping options, making it convenient for families. The room was well-appointed and impeccably clean, with exceptionally comfortable beds that ensured a restful night. While breakfast could use more variety, McDonald's nearby offers quick alternatives. Noise from other guests was minimal, which enhanced the peaceful atmosphere. However, the lack of hot food choices at breakfast and limited on-site amenities were drawbacks.

Location is pretty great. The rooms are a generous size with comfy beds. The amenities include a flat-screen TV, microwave, and a refrigerator. The place was spotless everywhere I looked. They had the best popcorn as a late-night treat, and the staff made sure everything was in shape.

Recommend it for couples moving through

The first room we got had that awful smell, like cigarettes, but the front desk was quick with another room. The new room was clean and comfy, which was necessary after the long day we had.

The location of Pear Tree Inn in Cape Girardeau is fantastic. Walking distance to multiple restaurants made dining easy. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Hot water in the shower was great, providing a nice, refreshing start to the day. However, housekeeping left much to be desired. I stayed four nights and didn’t see any room service at all. Had to call the front desk for fresh towels, and it felt annoying. Additionally, the breakfast options were decent but could definitely use more hot items like eggs or meats. The fruit and cereals were a nice touch, though. The hotel overall is in good shape, but a bit of attention to service would make a big difference.
